Remote 25 SL mkII

£225

Integrating a DAW control surface with a quality semi-weighted keyboard (with after-touch) and the most intuitive plug-in mapping capabilities available - presided over by Automap 3 PRO; unquestionably the most advanced control software on the market. It upholds Novation's reputation for building quality hardware. Quality is not just reflected in their robustness, but more importantly in the way the SL Mk II has been designed with every detail calculated to maximise workflow. The SL Mk II's visually feeds back all controller information to the user with back lit buttons and encoder LED rings. The difficulty with other control surfaces is knowing what is assigned to what. SL Mk II has a giant 144-character ultra-bright LCD screen that displays all the parameter names and values for the currently selected row of controllers. All 8 faders and 16 knobs are touch sensitive, so the moment one is touched, the display shows the names and values on that row and puts brackets around the controller that is currently being touched. This enables the user to see which parameter is assigned to the controller without having to change the value, or refer to their software. There is also a dedicated 'Speed Dial' knob, which can be used to change the value of any parameter the cursor is positioned over without making any assignments whatsoever.

Remote Zero SL mkII

The ZeRO SL Mk II allows the modern DAW user with every dimension of hardware control, enabling a hands-on approach to navigating software, mixing and controlling plug-ins. It represents extraordinary value as a controller, integrating a DAW control surface with the most intuitive plug-in mapping capabilities available - Automap PRO.  It can be mounted in a 19" rack, or used as a desk-top controller, or angled for performance using legs that are included with the unit. Quality is not just reflected in their robustness, but more importantly in the way the ZeRO SL Mk II has been designed with every detail calculated to maximise workflow. The ZeRO SL Mk II's visually feeds back all controller information to the user with back lit buttons and encoder LED rings, making it absolutely ideal for live performances where parameters need to be identified instantly. The difficulty with other control surfaces is knowing what is assigned to what. ZeRO SL Mk II has a giant 144-character ultra-bright LCD screen that displays all the parameter names and values for the currently selected row of controllers. All 8 faders and 16 knobs are touch sensitive, so the moment one is touched, the display shows the names and values on that row and puts brackets around the controller that is currently being touched. ZeRO SL Mk II also has a dedicated 'Speed Dial' knob, which can be used to change the value of any parameter the cursor is positioned over without making any assignments whatsoever. The 8 continuous rotary encoders have 11 segment LED rings around each of them, allowing encoders to behave like pots so the user can see the value before moving them.  There are 8 soft-feel fully assignable drum pads.

Doepfer

Doepfer Logo Doepfer R2m Box Doepfer Ribbon

         Doepfer R2m

The R2M  ribbon controller generates control signals by moving the finger across the 50cm ribbon manual, and outputs Midi and CV/Gate simultaneously. The  ribbon has a very precise sensitive position sensor  that responds to a light  touch.

MIDI messages can be assigned to the two sensors: note on/off (without pitch bend) note on/off (with pitch bend), pitch bend, after touch or any MIDI controller), program change and "Trautonium" mode: in this special mode only a single note on message is generated when the position sensor is touched. After that only pitch bend messages are generated until the finger is lifted off.
MIDI channel, control change number and pitch scale can be adjusted. quantization option,  (e.g. only major or minor notes) are generated. adjustable manual scaling (i.e. which length of the manual corresponds to one octave, full length is max. 5 octaves)- inverse scaling is possible (important if e.g. the manual is put on with a strap). arpeggiator function: permanent arpeggio or synced arpeggio, in case of synced arpeggio the tempo can adjusted at the R2M or MIDI clock can be used for arpeggio speed . MIDI input (for arpeggio clocking)
 CV1 outputs position sensor data (1V/octave, 0...max. +5V, i.e. max. 5 octaves)

CV2 outputs the pressure sensor data (0...+5V)

Gate output (corresponds to CV1)  Gate can be configured as V-Trig or S-Trig

Doepfer MSY2

The MSY2 is a MIDI to clock interface that converts MIDI realtime events CLOCK, START and STOP into the corresponding signals CLOCK and START/STOP of the SYNC standard (as used by vintage drum computers or sequencers such as the Roland TR808 and TB303). SYNC-START/STOP is a signal that indicates on the 2 possible states: START = +5V, STOP = 0V. The MSY2 allows the reduction of the tempo by dividing the incoming MIDI clock frequency by any value between 1 and 16 with 4 DIP switches. 1 corresponds to the 1:1 conversion, 16 is the maximum of frequency reduction, i.e. after 16 MIDI clocks 1 SYNC clock appears. The polarity of the CLOCK signal and the polarity of the START/STOP can be chosen by 2 DIP switches.

Can be powered from MIDI, but we recommend using a PSU (optional extra)
